- The aim of Talking Shop is to document and support small, independent shops and to highlight the effects regeneration has on them. The project began in Pendle during 2005 under the name Shopkeepers, since then areas of Burnley, Oswaldtwistle and Blackburn Rd, Accrington have been documented. Each of these areas is different but all boast a wide variety of small, independent shops. Funding is currently being sought from different sources to extend this project and document additional areas.
